Try these 3 tips before giving up on natural deodorant!

Ladies (and Gents), this is my third attempt using natural deodorant. And this time, it's going great.

The last two attempts were unsuccessful because of my ignorance, so I'm sharing what has helped me stay in the 'natural deodorant' game, even in this summer heat!

1. Shave your armpits.

Apparently sweat is odorless.                                 

Body odor comes from your skin's bacteria drown the sweat secretions.

Try shaving to cut down on the surface area, if you know what I mean.

 

2. Detox your underarms.

Think face mask, but for your pits. 

I try to do this once a week, but it honestly ends up being twice a month.lol

Mix 1 tablespoon bentonite clay, 1 tablespoon of unfiltered apple cider vinegar, and 1-2 tablespoons water in a glass bowl to make a paste. I use a silicone brush to apply. 

*DO NOT USE a metal bowl or utensil as bentonite clay adsorbs toxins, heavy metals, impurities, and chemicals.

Apply the paste on washed, shaved armpits until dry. Then wash off with a warm towel and dry. 

 

3. Wash your armpits day and night. 

Regardless of how often you bathe or shower, make sure you're cleaning your armpits day and night.
